It's no secret that the Call of Duty franchise has many installments under its belt. One of the most beloved by the community is Call of Duty: World at War, which returned to the World War II setting after the previous 2007 title depicted a conflict in modern times.

Although more than a decade has passed since its original release in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 era, the Activision and Treyarch video game still has a loyal community that tries to enjoy the online experience despite connection issues and the rise of cheaters.

This 65-year-old player is one of the most devoted players of this first-person shooter. He played at least one match every day for the past 15 years. His story came to light thanks to his son-in-law. Specifically, the user Jagrbomb shared a post on Reddit where he showcased his father-in-law's statistics.

Undoubtedly, it is impressive to see that the 65-year-old man has already logged 293 days, 14 hours, and 23 minutes of gameplay so far. Additionally, he has accumulated 498,768 eliminations, far surpassing his 294,385 deaths. His best killstreak is 36, which demonstrates that he is a very skilled player.

As expected, the achievement of this elderly gamer surprised both friends and strangers. "He has a K/D of 1.66 with almost half a million eliminations. That's insane," one person commented in the section. Some users took the opportunity to share similar stories.

Call of Duty: World at War debuted in 2008 and was the franchise's last World War II game until Call of Duty: WWII in 2017. It was a highly regarded installment for its multiplayer mode, single-player campaign, and the introduction of the zombies mode.

But tell us, what do you think of this interesting case? Do you know any similar stories? Let us hear from you in the comments.
