Diablo is in a good moment thanks to the enormous success of Diablo IV. Perhaps that's why its developers decided that it was time to introduce a new class to the franchise after 9 years without doing so. Surprisingly, this will not happen in the acclaimed console and PC game.

Last week, it was confirmed that Diablo Immortal is about to welcome a new character class. It's called the Blood Knight, and starting from July 13, it will be available to choose alongside the Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard in the game for iPhone and Android.

But what on earth is a Blood Knight? According to Blizzard's explanation, the Blood Knight is a class made up of humans who were bitten by vampires but were saved thanks to an ancient ritual that stops the curse before it takes control of the person. In exchange for their salvation, Blood Knights must venture into the world to fight against vampires.

Among the Blood Knight's abilities is Syphon Blood, which allows you to absorb health from nearby enemies. Additionally, Blood Knights can transform into an Abomination, a powerful creature that temporarily releases some of the vampiric curse that the ritual trapped.

As mentioned, the Blood Knight class will arrive in Diablo Immortal on July 13. Keep in mind that you will be able to try out this new class by creating a new character or by changing your class.
