There is bad news for gamers, as one of the most anticipated titles for this year was delayed for many months. We are referring to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the spiritual successor to Suikoden. The RPG was scheduled for 2023, but now it will debut until next year.
Through a statement, Rabbit & Bear Studios and 505 Games confirmed that they need more time to finish the title and reach the quality quotas they expect from the project. This will guarantee that players will receive the best version of the RPG on its debut.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will arrive until 2024
Rabbit & Bear Studios' plans were to surprise RPG fans with the release of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes sometime in 2023. However, they realized that they would not be able to meet the release deadline without sacrificing important aspects of the title.
For that reason, the game is now scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. The studio will use the additional time to deliver the best possible gaming experience to the fans who have supported the project over the past few years.
In case you don't remember, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes was born as a Kickstarter proposal and soon caught the attention of many players, who didn't hesitate to support the project. The title is inspired by the classic JRPGs of the 32-bit era and seeks to offer a similar experience in terms of narrative, gameplay and aesthetics.
That said, players will have to be patient to enjoy this promising adventure. As for its release platforms, there are no changes, so it will arrive on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. In addition, it will be part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
