Xbox Series S has proven to be a tough and durable console despite its small size. Proof of this is an interesting story about a system that survived a devastating fire. While the console was quite badly damaged by the fire, its internal components were spared.
Twitter user DemiZe LY uploaded a video showing the Xbox Series S in question. The exterior of the console was indeed consumed by the flames; but surprisingly it managed to survive and is still working.

DemiZe LY told how one of his friends went through a very complicated time as his house caught fire. The young man was able to salvage several things once the fire was brought under control, including his beloved Xbox Series S. The gamer feared the worst, as the casing was completely damaged and some parts melted due to the high temperatures.
Despite this, he decided to check the inside of the console and then test it. To his surprise, his Xbox Series S turned on and started up without any problems. He also found that his games were still there and that there were no problems with controller pairing.
It is speculated that this was possible thanks to the metal casing that protected the internal components from fire. Of course, the video surprised gamers, as many did not imagine that an Xbox Series S could have such resistance.
"Two days ago, my friend's house in Libya caught fire and his Xbox Series S was burned, but the shocking thing is that the device is still working efficiently," explained DemiZe LY. Below you can watch the video:
