After a complicated launch, Arkane Austin and Xbox promised improvements to fix Redfall's main problems. They also assured that 60 fps on consoles would arrive in a future update.

However, the optimizations have been slow in coming and some of the promises have yet to be fulfilled. Players' patience is running out, so a part of the community complained to the developers for not talking about the future of the game. Some fans even feel that the title has already been abandoned.

Fans are disappointed with the support for Redfall

Part of the community fears that Arkane Austin will forget about Redfall due to everything that has happened since its launch. Some players raised their voices, as they want the studio to be transparent and clarify what will happen with the game in the future.

Several fans speculate that the game may not receive any more content. Especially since it has lost an important part of its community in recent months. To put this in perspective, Redfall no longer exceeds 50 simultaneous players on Steam and has registered drops where it only registers 6 users.

Despite the outlook not looking promising, some players are still hopeful that Arkane Austin will release all the promised improvements and even more content to extend the adventure.

"I love Xbox and I love Phil Spencer, but we as a community absolutely have to hold them accountable when things go wrong and they don't support their community as promised", stated a reddit user.

The game has received several updates that have made necessary adjustments; however, players believe that it is insufficient. For this reason, they demanded the studio and Spencer to be fair with the users who bet and paid for the game.

"But promises were made by Phill and the devs while content was pre-purchased by the consumers. Bare minimum Arkane need to communicate their intent soon, give people an update on what we can expect and when we can expect it. Then, they need to deliver on those dates and if not, be held accountable.

"This isn't a witch hunt, and as I said, I have nothing but love for Xbox, the community that it has and the devs who make the games. But the situation with Redfall simply isn't good enough, especially when we consider the fact many people out there have paid for the additional content", the user added.

For now, the future of the game is uncertain since, as the community mentions, Arkane has remained silent and hasn't revealed any news in months.
