VALVE ANNOUNCES REFURBISHED STEAM DECK UNITS
According to a statement published by Valve on the Steam site, there are already Steam Deck units redesigned for sale, which represents an attractive option for those looking to get hold of the gaming device. In this regard, the company guarantees that the units have gone through a process of revision, repairs and tests that guarantee their optimal operation: "each certified refurbished Steam Deck has been thoroughly tested to meet the same high quality standards that apply to new units for sale. Each device goes through an entire factory reset, software update and a comprehensive review that includes more than 100 tests."
HOW MUCH DOES A REFURBISHED STEAM DECK COST?
According to Valve, these tests include a thorough review and testing of connections, parts that often present problems due to misuse or sudden movements by the user. In the same way, the company confirms that the batteries have also gone through the same process ensuring that they have a life span on par with new line equipment.
