Call of Duty HQ aims to have years of content

Activision has long dreamed of having a single place to unify the Call of Duty franchise. Now, the publisher has finally revealed its intentions to do so with a project called Call of Duty HQ.

But what is Call of Duty HQ? Activision described it as the central hub for the franchise. Here, players will be able to access games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Call of Duty: Warzone from a single location.

"Starting with Modern Warfare II and Warzone, and now with Modern Warfare III and beyond, players can navigate all their content in one place, which we call Call of Duty HQ, making it easier to select the game and modes you want to play," Activision said in its blog post.

Let's remember that this isn't the first time Activision has attempted something like this. After all, for some years now, the latest Call of Duty installment has provided access to other franchise experiences from its main menu. However, this will transform Call of Duty HQ into the content hub for the first-person shooter series.

At the moment, Activision hasn't provided more details about Call of Duty HQ or shared a glimpse of how it will look. We'll have to wait a bit longer to learn more about it. Hopefully, with the reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, we'll have the necessary information to share with you.

And you, do you think something like Call of Duty HQ is necessary? Does the concept intrigue you? Tell us in the comments.
