8BitDo is one of the most famous and recognized controller companies today, thanks to its eye-catching and quality products. Now, this company aims to impress with what might be the smallest and lightest controller for the Nintendo Switch on the entire market.

Introducing the Micro controller, which, as its name suggests, is a very small controller. Its dimensions are 72 x 40.7 x 14.1 mm, making it a very compact device. And that's not all, as the controller is extremely lightweight, weighing 24.8 grams (for comparison, the Pro controller for Switch weighs 246 grams).

It's worth mentioning that, in order to achieve these dimensions, the Micro had to make some sacrifices. This led to the removal of the analog sticks, leaving only a D-Pad for 2D games. Apart from that, it's equipped with all the buttons you would expect from a full controller.

The controller promises a battery life of 10 hours and can be charged via a USB-C port. It's important to note that you can also use it in wired mode if you prefer.

An important point is that, while it's designed for the Switch, it's also compatible with Android devices.

If you're interested in the 8BitDo Micro, it's already available for sale at $25 USD.

What do you think of this Nintendo Switch controller? Would you like to have it, or do you not find it particularly useful? Share your thoughts in the comments.
