Xbox removes the Game Pass trial for $1 USD in the United States just days before the release of Starfield

For a long time, Microsoft offered a promotion that gave you a month of Xbox Game Pass in exchange for $1 USD. This was a fantastic offer that allowed many users to try the service without much commitment. However, several individuals abused it with multiple accounts, and Microsoft decided to withdraw the promotion. While it did return recently, it disappeared again just days before the release of Starfield.

In the last few hours, several users on social media discovered that Microsoft stopped offering the Xbox Game Pass trial for $1 USD in the United States. If you visit the page that showcases the different service plans, you will notice that the promotion is no longer available.

Therefore, if you want to play Starfield with Xbox Game Pass once it debuts on September 6th, you have three options: subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, subscribe to PC Game Pass, or subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. All of these options involve paying for the entire month of service.

This is a change that has drawn a lot of attention, especially because a few weeks ago, Xbox had brought back the promotion with a significant change: instead of giving you 30 days of service, it offered 14 days this time.
