PlayStation wants to give PS5 sales an extra boost and already has a plan to do so. The company unveiled a new program that will reward gamers with a free first-party title if they meet certain requirements.
Specifically, it will allow gamers to download a PlayStation 5 exclusive at no additional cost when they purchase their console. Unfortunately, this cool promotion will only be available in a single region.

Sony will give free exclusives to gamers who purchase a PS5
Sony will offer a free title to gamers who purchase a PlayStation 5 before October 20. The lucky ones will be able to choose from excellent titles such as God of War: Ragnarök, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered, Horizon Forbidden West, The Last of Us: Part I, among others.
Unfortunately, this offer will only be valid in the United States for now. It is quite attractive as fans who purchase a console will not need to spend more to enjoy it, as they will automatically get some of the best titles on the system.
Eligible users will see a special banner on the PlayStation Store when they first use their console. From there they will be able to choose one of the titles on the list and start downloading it for free.
It is not known at this time if this type of promotion will be extended to other regions in the future. Below is the full list of titles that PlayStation will be giving away for free:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered
- God of War: Ragnarök
