Do you use your Nintendo Switch for streaming content? We have some bad news for you. It has been confirmed that one of the most popular entertainment apps on the console will disappear completely from its catalog.
The thing is, Twitch has confirmed that its app for Nintendo Switch is living on borrowed time. The Twitch app will disappear from the Nintendo Switch ecosystem and its digital store, the eShop, on January 31, 2024.
As of now, Twitch has not explained why it decided to remove its application from the Nintendo Switch. That said, some speculate that it is because the application had several issues, and Twitch deemed it not worth fixing.
In its message, Twitch recommended that its users use the service from another device or from a web browser. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch lacks a web browser that users can freely use.

Other entertainment apps will remain on Nintendo Switch
Undoubtedly, many will miss being able to use Twitch on their Nintendo Switch; however, the reality is that there are still many other entertainment options on the Nintendo console.
