Pokémon Scarlet & Violet have a main story, but they still have more to offer through 2 DLC expansions. The first, The Teal Mask, went on sale last September and fans won't have to wait as long to play the second and final one.
Unlike other companies that write "winter" of the current year as game launch windows to avoid the penalty of saying that the release date is clearly scheduled for the beginning of next year, The Pokémon Company did consider the last 11 days of 2023 to launch [ i]The Indigo Disk[/i]; in fact, it will release it sooner!
When will The Indigo Disk DLC be available?
You read that right, the latest DLC for Pokémon's best-selling titles was scheduled to go on sale in winter 2023 (December 21 to March 19, 2024), but surprisingly today The Pokémon Company announced that the release was brought forward at late autumn, precisely next December 14.
This means that the second part of the DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, The Indigo Disk, will be released just under 3 months after the premiere of the first part The Teal Mask (September 13, 2023).
However, the announcement was rather brief, because, unlike other occasions, The Pokémon Company did not share a video with more surprises that await players in the Blueberry Academy, but only limited itself to show the main art image (already known) with the release date.
