Netflix spoiled its users this week with exciting announcements. There were surprises for fans of anime, manga and the work of Yoshihiro Togashi, as the company released the first trailer for its Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series.
In case you don't remember, this production was announced in 2020 and, after a few years, its debut is finally just around the corner. For this reason, Netflix prepared a video showing the action that this adaptation of the adventure of Yusuke Urameshi and company will offer.
Netflix reveals Yu Yu Hakusho with exciting trailer
Netflix knows that some fans of the franchise are worried about the results, as some of its adaptations have not lived up to expectations. However, he believes that Yu Yu Hakusho, like One Piece, will be a different case.
In the trailer he gives us a small taste of what the adaptation will offer after years of work. We see actors like Takumi Kitamura, Shuhei Uesugi, Kanata Hongo and Jun Shison in the roles of Yusuke, Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama.
The plot will respect Yoshihiro Togashi's work, so everything will start when Yusuke has a fatal accident and meets another reality. The video shows some of the exciting fights and the skills Yusuke will gain after the incident.
Netflix reiterated that its goal with Yu Yu Hakusho is to meet fans' expectations just as it did with One Piece. The series will premiere next December 14 on the streaming service, Below you can watch the trailer.
