"I haven't slept", player lost his 15-year account with all his titles and lived a nightmare

A Xbox fan surprised the community recently with a story that worried, moved and frightened many gamers. What happens is that he lost his account from 15 years ago, where he had all his games and all his progress. Yes, a hard blow to his gaming life and, of course, to his wallet.

According to details, the nightmare started when his Xbox account was compromised, causing Microsoft to temporarily lock it. Although the gamer did everything he could to prove he was the owner and requested access to it several times, he was unsuccessful and lost it, apparently for good.

"I haven’t slept in 24 hours, I’ve been gathering information on my account. Searched through emails dating back 13 years to find information for microsoft that would aid in my account recovery.," narrates the gamer at the beginning of his story, which he shared on reddit.

He then explains that he contacted Xbox customer service in the hope of being able to regain access to his account. To do so, he gathered as much information as possible to corroborate that he was its rightful owner.

However, he did not have the luck he had hoped for and, in the end, Xbox suspended his account permanently, without the ability to transfer his purchases or progress stored in the cloud.

"I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with support pleading to talk to a supervisor or manager that would have some power in my account being recovered. After providing card numbers, transaction history, and the date of the account being compromised. Xbox support ultimately permanently suspended my account without the option of an account transfer due to unauthorized access," the player added.

The young man posted the story to ask for help from the community, as he is totally heartbroken by the loss of his account. The support only sent him a page with a link to create another account. Unfortunately, no one has a solution to his problem. Instead, the story made other players worried.

"They won’t hear the voice of 12 year old me who first created my account and shared so many memories with friends and since deceased family members over that time. My heart is broken as i type this," concluded the clearly saddened player.
