The Japanese creative didn't hide his enthusiasm for one of Paul King's movies

Hideo Kojima is an avid consumer of audiovisual content, and 70% of his body is made up of movies. With that said, it's safe to say he thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit, as not only did he receive a very special Xbox, but it was a gift from one of the filmmakers behind a movie he holds dear.

This week, the Japanese creative had the fortune of being visited by Paul King and Timothée Chalamet, the director and star of the movie Wonka, respectively. The film is an adaptation of Roald Dahl's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and is set to be released next month.

Paul King didn't visit Kojima Productions empty-handed; he prepared a gift for the occasion: a highly limited edition Xbox Series X from the movie, characterized by its resemblance to a chocolate bar.

Apparently, both the actor and the filmmaker had a good time in the studio and even had a chat. However, it's also worth noting that Kojima took the opportunity during the visit to ask King to sign the suitcase of the Paddington statue he has in his office.

In the message, King expressed excitement about meeting Kojima and thanked him for all the pleasure he has provided over the years with his works.

This is particularly special for the Japanese creative because, for him, Paddington 2 (directed and written by King) is on his list of 100 favorite movies of all time. Kojima has likely seen hundreds of movies in his life, so being in his top 100 should be quite remarkable.
