The first trailer for GTA 6 is full of interesting details and pop culture references, but not everyone is happy. Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the Florida Joker, had a brief parody in the video and he's far from pleased.

In a recent message, the Miami, Florida man claimed that Rockstar practically took his life away from him by using his image without his permission and showing it in the GTA 6 trailer. For such reason, he believes he should receive compensation of at least $2 million. However, for now he has only received ridicule, even from actors who have worked with the studio.

The release of the first trailer for GTA 6, the Florida Joker reacted and showed interest in the character that clearly parodies his image. After assimilating what happened, the man is now angry, as he believes that Rockstar used his image without his permission.

For that reason, he thinks that the studio should contact him to negotiate, because he will not let his image be used or parodied just like that. So he demanded a few million dollars from the developers to settle the matter and not bother them anymore.

"Everybody is saying that I'm hallucinating. That I'm not the Joker from GTA 6. Y'all out your goddamned nuggets. That's me. That's me. We got to talk, GTA. We gotta talk. Or not, you got to give me like a mil[lion] or two. Florida Joker ain't having that. Y'all took my likeness, Y'all took my life," the man stated in a recent TikTok post.

As expected, Rockstar has not commented on the matter and it is not known if they will be contacting the Florida Joker to do some sort of negotiation or even to agree on a collaboration of some sort in the future.

Red Dead Redemption 2 actor mocked the Florida Joker

Due to the media impact of GTA 6, the Florida Joker's message did not go unnoticed by gamers and other members of the industry. Roger Clark, who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, reacted to the video and mocked it.

He assured that many people have tried to sue Rockstar and get profits in some way, but that the studio knows what it does and it is unlikely to happen. For that reason, he recommended him to forget about the matter and take advantage of the little fame that the game is giving him in some way.

“They’ve had people like you trying to sue them for decades. They are lawyered up man. They know exactly what they can and can’t get away with. If I was you, I’d use the notoriety they just threw your way to my advantage. Capitalise on it somehow! You ain’t getting a job at Home Depot with that face!” stated the actor.
