Jeff Grubb, journalist and well-known industry insider, recently spoke about the PlayStation 5 Pro and claimed that recent leaks about the system look real. While he is only speculating for now, he believes the system will debut in September 2024.

The most interesting part of his report is that the console will supposedly feature technology similar to Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). In case you don't know, this is an artificial intelligence-powered tool for improving gaming performance.

According to Grubb, the PlayStation 5 Pro will have similar technology that is patented by Sony. Because of this, the console would have special hardware to take full advantage of it and make games run and look great.

"They use their own machine learning to improve images so they can run things at a really high resolution and really high frame rate, and they would include their own hardware in the PS5 Pro to do this," said the journalist.

Now, it is important to mention that Sony has not confirmed a revision of its console for now. While there are several indications of its existence, it would be best to wait for an official statement that talks about the company's future hardware plans.
