User X, known as Hype, shared a blurry image where Goku, the Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO logo, and a release date are visible: August 8, 2024. Many players got excited when they saw the supposed leak, envisioning themselves enjoying the new installment in the second half of the year.
However, their excitement didn't last long. Several fans immediately suspected the image, as it had all the elements to be considered a false leak. Soon after, someone confirmed it, admitting to being the one who colored Goku and edited the image of the supposed announcement.
"I was the one who colored Goku and edited the image, just to see who would take the bait," said user X Nando, who was criticized for attempting to deceive the community. He also received praise from some fans who thought the illustration looked very well done.
As you can imagine, his confession disappointed all the players who were filled with excitement. The community had no choice but to accept that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO still has no release date, and they will have to be patient to learn more about it.
