As scheduled, there was exciting news for Dragon Ball fans this weekend. One of the most eye-catching announcements was the new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, a fighting title that promises plenty of action and epic battles.
In addition to showing a confrontation between Goku and Vegeta, Bandai Namco also revealed a part of the huge roster that the game will have. For now, we know the identity of 40 characters of the more than 150 fighters and variants that will be available.

The game's new trailer presents us with an exciting fight between 2 eternal rivals: Goku and Vegeta. Both show off their most iconic transformations, from the various Super Saiyan phases, including the God and Blue phase.
Even Vegeta transforms into Ōzaru, confirming battles against giant characters. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the game's roster will have 164 playable characters, accounting for the various variants and transformations of each.
The 40 characters initially confirmed include quite a few transformations of Goku and Vegeta. Their Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super variants are accounted for. In addition to their Super Saiyan transformations, there are also special stages such as Ōzaru and Majin Vegeta, for example.
Previously, other classic characters such as Krillin, Piccolo, Yamcha, Ten Shin Han, among others, were confirmed. The title is expected to have one of the most complete rosters in the history of the franchise's fighting games. Below you can see the video and the list of characters:
