Reporter asked fans of the franchise to control their expectations

The most recent State of Play disappointed some gamers, as once again there was no news about Bloodborne and its return. For years, rumors and reports have circulated about its possible revival with a port for PlayStation 5 and PC. However, nothing has happened and gamers are losing hope.

A reliable source spoke about the subject recently and generated expectations among fans, as he assured that the reports about a version for Sony's current console and computers are real. However, nothing guarantees that the game will actually return someday.

Bloodborne for PS5 and PC was real, but...

Will Bloodborne for PS5 and PC ever become a reality?

Insider Lance McDonald commented some time ago that Bloodborne might have a PlayStation 5 and PC version. However, months have passed and the project has not been confirmed. Because of this, many doubt the recent reports from that source.

Imran Khan, former editor of Game Informer and Fanbyte, came to McDonald's defense and, to gamers' surprise, backed up his report on Bloodborne. Specifically, he stated that the port of the game was indeed in planning at some point.

Unfortunately, his statements also came with bad news: there has been no word on the project for years. For this reason, Khan advised players not to get their hopes up since it is unclear whether or not it will ever happen.

Despite this, some fans are still confident that PlayStation will surprise sooner or later and announce the return of the series. On the contrary, there are players who have already lost all hope and prefer not to get their hopes up about a possible port.
