The series of The Last of Us more than met fans' expectations with its first season. Thanks to its great reception, HBO is already working on Season 2, which seeks to preserve the high level of production that characterized the adaptation.
Proof of this are the first leaked images of some important locations of the upcoming episodes, which will adapt the story and action of The Last of Us: Part II. The photos excited fans of the franchise, as they believe the recreation is excellent.
First leaks of The Last of Us Season 2 emerge
The Last of Us News, X account focused on the saga, shared several pictures showing the set of Season 2 of The Last of Us. In the first of them we see the Greenplace Market building, a supermarket that was abandoned and, subsequently, invaded by infected.
The location is part of The Last of Us: Part II, as Ellie and Dina have a dangerous adventure in its aisles. Fans are amazed with the recreation of the location, as they believe it looks pretty good and that the production is at a very high level.
On the other hand, the same source shared other images showing what would be Jackson, the important community of survivors in the sequel. The pictures show part of the construction process of the settlement and everything indicates that it will look great.
As we told you, the community is more than excited, as they believe that Season 2 will be sensational and will feature some of the most iconic moments of Naughty Dog's sequel. We won't tell you more and we'll leave you the images below:

When will Season 2 of The Last of Us debut?
Filming for the new episodes has already begun; however, fans will have to be patient. The Season 2 premiere is not close, as it is not scheduled to premiere this year. HBO previously confirmed that it will debut until 2025, on a date yet to be confirmed.
That said, it is very likely that in the coming months we will see more leaks about the sets and that HBO will share official information about possible adjustments that will be made to the adaptation. We will keep you updated on all the news in this regard.
