According to the information, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will begin filming on July 1st of this year, which seems to indicate that Blumhouse Productions and Universal are aiming for a tentative release window of 2025. Additionally, it is indicated that the recordings will take place in New Orleans, Los Angeles, United States.

The movie's profile on the website does not reveal more details, and it seems that the data belongs to the first film. The page indicates that Emma Tammi and Jason Blum will be the director and producer, respectively. It also highlights the involvement of Scott Cawthon, the creator of the franchise's original video games.

Meanwhile, Ryan Turek, executive producer and vice president of films at Blumhouse Productions, stated at the beginning of 2024 that they hope to receive the green light to start production.
