Microsoft released its current family of Xbox consoles in late 2020, characterized by offering a lower-priced model not only by sacrificing the disc drive but also some power. Well, the clues suggest that Microsoft is preparing a model that would retain the power of the Xbox Series X and the digital nature of the Xbox Series S.
Rumors about this supposed new Microsoft system date back to mid-2023 and have just been reinforced with a new report that provides more details about its release and the first technical specifications.
When will the Xbox Series X digital be released?
The information comes from eXputer, which has made accurate predictions based on sources knowledgeable about the matter. This time, the report states that informants shared "confidential material" confirming the existence of this new system.
According to the report, this new Xbox Series X would be like the original, only in white, and would include improved heat dissipation and a better NEXUS terminal. The power would be the same (meaning it could display games in 4K), but it would not have a disc drive, making it digital-only, like the Xbox Series S.
The Xbox Series X is real and would arrive this year according to an informant
Given this absence, this new version of Microsoft's most powerful console would be sold at a reduced price, and it is expected to be available between June and July 2024, although a delay is not ruled out.Unfortunately, the report did not include any images of the system due to confidentiality reasons but made it clear that it had already gained access to images of the new model.
