Moore's Law Is Dead, a YouTube channel specializing in technology, is one of the sources that has revealed the most details about Nintendo's next console. In a new report, he speculated on the potential of the new system from the technical details he knows.

It is said that the device will feature an Ampere microarchitecture GPU, a 128-bit memory bus and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory. Because of this, it is believed that Switch 2 could be above some of the Steam Deck specs.

In terms of raw performance, Moore's Law Is Dead believes that Nintendo's next console will be similar to an Xbox Series S. He clarifies that the Japanese company may gamble on less potential in order to keep the cost of the system low.

It is speculated that, with such power, Switch 2 would be able to run both demanding titles from the past generation and current games with a few tweaks. Now, it is important to mention that this is unofficial information, so we recommend you to take it as a simple rumor.

At the moment, Nintendo has not given any clues about the technical specifications or potential of Switch 2. Originally, the console was expected to debut this year; however, reports claim that it was internally delayed and will arrive until 2025.
