Through its official communication channels, Bit Reactor addressed the layoffs affecting EA. While expressing regret for the situation, they confirmed to fans that they are still working on the Star Wars strategy game, although they refrained from providing more details.
"Last week was tough for the industry, and even more so because of our close relationships with the teams at Respawn. But for those asking, we are still working hard, and our game was not affected by last week's news," reads the statement.
Regarding the canceled project in the saga, there were rumors that it was an FPS (The Mandalorian) that would allow players to step into the shoes of a space bounty hunter. In the midst of that disappointing situation, Electronic Arts confirmed that the third installment of the Star Wars Jedi franchise is still on track.
