Pokémon Scarlet & Violet may have been in the market for almost 2.5 years, but since their release, they have continued to receive new content through events or distributions. Another one has just begun, and it gives you a Pokémon to celebrate something very special.
Game Freak and The Pokémon Company are pampering Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players with a Pokémon that they are distributing as a Mystery Gift.
It's the Clap Pokémon, Pawmot, which knows the moves Electroplasma, Discharge, Quick Attack, and Static Cheek.
What makes Pawmot from the Mystery Gift special?
The truth is, this specimen is not very special, as it is a species that can be obtained within the game in both versions. It is more of a gift that The Pokémon Company prepared to celebrate the release of the single Biri-Biri in physical format in Japan.
What's unique about this creature, aside from being inside a Cherish Ball (exclusive to Mystery Gift distribution events), is that the trainer's name is YOASOBI, the artist responsible for the musical theme that even had a cool video with 3D animations.

How to get the Pawmot from the Mystery Gift for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
As on other occasions, if you want to get this new Mystery Gift, you must turn on your Nintendo Switch and ensure that it is connected to the internet. While a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not necessary, it is essential that the system be online.
Afterward, launch Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet and on the main menu, select the Poké Portal, then choose the option to receive a Mystery Gift via the internet and finally enter the code Y0AS0B1B1R1B1R1.
Once you have received the Mystery Gift, make sure to save the game.
It's worth reminding you that the Mystery Gift option is available only after playing the initial part of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which could take about 1 hour.
We usually recommend claiming Mystery Gifts as soon as possible since they are often available for a short time. However, in this case, you shouldn't worry, as it will be valid until the evening of February 27, 2025 (Mexico City time), according to information from Serebii.
In case you missed it: the upcoming Pokémon game will end the rarity of this creature.
