The Elder Scrolls Online debuted on April 4, 2014. Although it had a rocky start, it managed to overcome its issues and is now one of the most popular MMORPGs on the market. Haven't tried it yet? In that case, you'll be glad to know that you can play it for free, although there are restrictions you should be aware of.

How to Play The Elder Scrolls Online for Free on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox
As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, Bethesda has launched a special limited-time event. Players will be able to delve into the fantasy world of Tamriel without spending a dime through a free trial available on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The trial session is already available and will run until Tuesday, March 9. There is no time limit, which means you have around 5 days to explore what the MMORPG has to offer. You'll be able to keep your progress and continue from where you left off if you decide to purchase the game when the free period ends.
Good news for new players trying out The Elder Scrolls Online during the event: you'll receive 500 crowns for free that you can spend in the Crown Store, the store offering costumes, mounts, houses, and other special items.

Now, what does the free trial of TESO offer? You'll have access to the entire base game, including 4 classes (Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight), 24 zones to explore, and PvP modes. If you're interested, head to the official website to download the game on your chosen platform.
The good news doesn't end here. Active subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can claim some additional rewards in the MMORPG at no extra cost. Specifically, they'll have access to the anniversary pack, which includes 500 Endeavor seals and 3 scrolls. These items will be available until June 2.

So, will you give this online title a chance? Will you purchase it when the free period ends?
