Xbox annually celebrates various dates that are important to the brand, its employees and, of course, its gamers. This week, the company prepared a gift to kick off the festivities for Asian & Pacific Islander Cultural Heritage Month.
Through Xbox Wire, he talked about this date and how important both developers and gamers from those regions have been. As a token of appreciation, he designed a cool dynamic background that all his fans can get for free just by following a few steps.
Xbox gives you an attractive dynamic background for your console
Xbox teamed up with a Thai artist to design a special logo and dynamic background for its consoles. The attractive artwork is inspired by the Ramayana, a very important literary work worldwide. Its narrative and characters are represented in the company's gift.
The dynamic background, which can also be used as wallpaper, features Sukhrip, the son of the sun, and Madchanu, the son of a mermaid. Songkran, the Thai New Year celebrated in April, is depicted.
"Traditionally, this celebration includes splashing with water to cool down from the hot sun. In this scene, Madchanu playfully splashes Sukhrip with water, while the Xbox logo represents the vibrant sun, capturing the festive spirit of Songkran," the company explained.
Now, how to get the free dynamic background? All you have to do is turn on your Xbox Series X|S and go to Settings. There select Personalization, then My Background and in the last tab you will find the group of dynamic backgrounds that Xbox has released. Simply select the new theme and it will be assigned to your home screen.
