Although Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are not live service games that evolve over time, Game Freak continues to support them with events offering special Pokémon. Such is the case with the latest distribution that grants a creature from the anime.
Pokémon Journeys continues to air new episodes in Japan, and to commemorate the latest one, Game Freak is conducting a distribution that allows players to obtain Dot's Quaxly, the young companion of Goh, Ash, and a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers.
How to get Dot's Quaxly in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
Similar to what happened with Goh's Sprigatito, players can now claim Dot's Quaxly through the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
Once in the Mystery Gift menu, the player must select the option to get it via code and enter D0T1STPARTNER. Then, they just have to accept it and wait for the gift to arrive and save the game.
According to information from Serebii, Dot's Quaxly has the Torrent ability and is of Serious nature. The Pokémon will be somewhat weak, as it is level 5 and only knows the moves Tackle and Water Gun. Additionally, this creature will come in a standard Poké Ball and with the Partner Ribbon and Classic Ribbon.
As with any distribution of this kind, we would recommend claiming this Pokémon as soon as possible, but not this time, as at the time of writing there is no end date for the event.
