A "brand-chu” competition has arrived at Pokémon Sword & Shield

A new online competition has surfaced for those owning a Pokémon Sword & Shield copy. You better show your trainer skills because Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu count on it. The “I choose chu!” competition is open for worldwide registration.

In this new challenge, you’ll have to participate in single battles, exclusively using either Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, or Alolan Raichu. However, the rewards will be worth it, so dare to enter a very electrifying event!

You can register now to participate in these electrifying Single Battles—remember that your team can only consist of Pichu, Pikachu, and either Raichu or Alolan Raichu! Qualifying players who participate in at least one battle during the event will receive 50 BP whether they win or lose.

You can register until August 11, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. To register for the competition, follow these steps:

Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
Open the X menu.
Select VS.
Select Battle Stadium.
Select Online Competitions.
Select Search Official Competitions.

The competition takes place from August 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. to August 14, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, so don’t forget to return to play your matches. To receive your participation gift after the competition is over, follow these steps:
