Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Games have been working since 2021 on a new Wonder Woman game. Fans of the heroine are worried, as since then we have had very little news about the project and have not seen its gameplay in action.
Furthermore, a recent report claims that we are unlikely to see it in the impending announcement season. This is because Monolith Productions is going through some problems related to its development.
Wonder Woman game would go through some problems
Since its reveal, weve had virtually no updates on the development status of Wonder Woman. Fans waiting for the project are somewhat distressed, as a reliable source assured that it is going through some complications.
According to Greg Miller, from Kinda Funny, the project is not going through its best moment, as Monolith Productions has some problems with the development that were not detailed. For such a reason, it is unlikely that we will see it in the upcoming announcement season.
“In the past year, because Ill leave it ambiguous, Ive talked to an insider, who was, like, this games troubled. Thats all Ill say. So, I dont hold out hope that its in a place to show something,” Miller stated.
The last thing Warner Bros. Games confirmed about the project is that it wont be a game-as-a-service. Monolith Productions is working on a single-player action-adventure title, which has DC and character fans excited.
The companies have not commented on the recent report about the title, which for now is just a rumor. Best to wait for Wonder Woman to resurface with official news in the future.
