Bernie Stolar ex-president of Sega and Sony of America passed away

Sad news arrives, as it is reported that Bernie Stolar, legendary video game executive passed away at 75.
Stolar worked with Atari, Sega, Sony, and Google, building a career filled with success, being mainly recognized as president and chief operating officer of Sega of America, where he helped lead the development and launch of the Sega Dreamcast. Even before that, he was the first executive vice president and founding member of Sony Computer Entertainment America, and while in charge he helped to line up original games for the launch of the original PlayStation.
Actually, he signed many game franchises that ended up being big successes including Crash Bandicoot, Ridge Racer, Oddworld Inhabitants, Spyro The Dragon, and Battle Arena Toshinden.
In order to celebrate his life, a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Pacific time at the Home of Peace Cemetery in Los Angeles on Sunday.
