By Frida Salazar on2023 will be filled with new stuff

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 debut has been giving us good news left and right, to begin with, the game is now confirmed as the most successful title in the history of the franchise, as it had sales that surpassed $800 MDD in revenue just in 3 days. Yeap, everything is going well for the Activision game.
However, today, developer Treyarch has confirmed via Twitter that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s Ranked Play will launch in 2023 as they are still working to deliver competitive modes, ranked skill divisions, visible skill ratings, a top 250 leaderboard, and competitive rewards.
In case you missed it: COD: Modern Warfare II is already the franchise's most successful release ever
Of course, there are no more details available as the developer said that they will keep the community updated as the debut date gets closer. On the other hand, they also mentioned that before its launch, players will be able to participate in the CDL Moshpit playlist which will arrive with Modern Warfare 2’s Season 1 update on November 16.
Some are saying goodbye
Sadly, Treyarch also confirmed that Black Ops Cold War League Play and Vanguard Ranked Play will be retired this month, so players have until November 22 to grab all their remaining rewards.
They closed the Twitter thread by saying thanks to every user who contributed with data, and feedback through these game modes; “The success of these modes has directly contributed to the future of Ranked Play. We sincerely thank you for all the data, feedback, and time played that was collected over the past two years. We look forward to sharing more soon!”
