Glen Schofield gained renown in the video game industry for creating Dead Space, one of the best horror franchises. Unfortunately, his new IP, The Callisto Protocol, fell short of expectations, but the creative mind has already embarked on a new project.
Glen Schofield left the Krafton Striking Distance Studios development studio — which he founded — after his first project failed to meet expectations. The good news for fans of his work is that they wont have to wait long to learn about his next game, as he is already working on a new one.
What new game is the creator of Dead Space working on?
This was revealed by Schofield himself through his Twitter account (X); although he didnt delve into details, the creative shared a brief message in which he talked a little about what he had been doing since leaving his studio last September.
What catches the attention is that among other activities he enjoys, such as drawing, Schofield mentioned that he is already working on a "new and exciting" game, although unfortunately, it is not known how this project will come to fruition: whether he will form a new studio or propose his idea to an established company.
"Although Ive taken a little break, Ive been very busy, and not just drawing. Something about video games that is new and exciting," expressed the developer.
The wait to learn more about this new game from the creator of Dead Space wont be long because he teased that he will talk about it "after the New Year."
