Dragon Ball fans across Mexico, Chile, and Argentina are in for a special treat this May 9, as Adult Swim LATAM celebrates Goku Day with a marathon featuring the final episodes of Dragon Ball Z and the complete Dragon Ball Daima anime—this time with Latin American Spanish dubbing.
Originally released in October 2024 and concluded in early 2025, Dragon Ball Daima marked a new adventure in the iconic franchise. While the series has been available for streaming on platforms like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Max, these services currently only offer the Japanese audio with subtitles. That’s about to change.
Dragon Ball Daima’s Latin Spanish Dub Is Finally Here
The long-awaited Latin Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Daima had a theatrical preview with the first five episodes released in select theaters across Latin America in early 2025. Now, for the first time on television, the entire series will air dubbed on Adult Swim LATAM.
Initially, fans were unsure whether a Latin dub would even happen. Just before the anime’s premiere, well-known voice director Eduardo Garza revealed he hadn’t been contacted to work on the project. However, it was later confirmed that the Latin American version would indeed be produced, easing fan concerns.
Goku Day Marathon: Schedule and Details
To honor Goku Day—a date widely celebrated in Japan and by fans worldwide—Adult Swim LATAM will host a special broadcast on May 9, 2025. According to On TV Tonight, the marathon begins at 12:40 PM with episodes 284 to 286 of Dragon Ball Z. Then, at 2:01 PM, Dragon Ball Daima will begin, showcasing all 20 episodes back-to-back.
Fans can expect familiar voices returning, including Mario Castañeda as adult Goku and Super Saiyan 4, and Laura Torres voicing kid Goku. Carlos Segundo and René García also reprise their roles as Piccolo and Vegeta, respectively.

When Will the Latin Dub Hit Streaming Platforms?
As of now, Adult Swim LATAM is the only way to watch Dragon Ball Daima with Latin Spanish dubbing. While Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Max stream the series in its original Japanese format, the dubbed version has not yet arrived.
In March 2025, a leak suggested that Dragon Ball Daima would debut with a Latin dub on HBO’s Max platform. However, no official release date has been confirmed. Fans are advised to keep an eye on updates from their favorite streaming services.
