The developer saw firsthand the potential his horror saga has for reaching other media, leading to a new idea: he wants to bring Five Nights at Freddys to television with a series inspired by an intriguing horror concept.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the saga, Scott Cawthon gave a new interview to YouTuber Dawko. During the conversation, the developer discussed various topics, including the sagas success in cinema and other potential adaptations.

To everyones surprise, Cawthon confessed that he now dreams of a Five Nights at Freddys TV series. He would like the saga to have a horror show similar to a production currently airing on Disney+.

Cawthon is fond of the Goosebumps series.This show tells interesting horror stories in each of its episodes, making it well-known among genre fans. Specifically, Cawthon would like to adapt Fazbear Frights to this format. For those unaware, this is a series of 12 novels that explore and expand the lore of Five Nights at Freddys from various perspectives.

Cawthons publications, along with those of various writers, have captivated fans of the saga, making its potential TV adaptation an exciting idea. However, it is important to clarify that the creative has not confirmed that the project is in planning; he only expressed his interest in making it a reality at some point.
