In that sense, Phil Spencer assured that they see all Game Pass users as members of the Xbox community and even consider that if a device runs the service, it is also an Xbox: "We believe that everyone playing our titles, including Game Pass users, are Xbox users. Of course, many people play on different consoles, but they also play on PC, and when they go out, they play in the cloud, they really play on multiple devices. This can raise the question: Is Xbox a multi-device community? I think Xbox is a community of gamers who can play on various devices from different locations. I travel a lot, so I carry an ASUS ROG Ally, which I also consider an Xbox. Of course, you can use Game Pass, but you can also play Starfield and Lies of P. All my saved games are in the cloud, so I can switch screens and play anywhere. Its a community I carry with me and its still there when I get home and play on my console and TV."
