Replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is one of the most challenging tasks facing the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to the point where no one appears to have proven capable of carrying on the legacy of The Greatest Showman's star. What if, while we were looking for a replacement, Hugh gave us one more ride?

That's right, Hugh Jackman is returning as the adamantium-clawed mutant, as Ryan Reynolds announced a few minutes ago. Deadpool 3 will be an opportunity to see again (for one last time?) what remains perhaps the most beloved and iconic of the X-Men in his most famous version.

Reynolds candidly admits in the video that he tried to dig deep into himself while writing the movie but came up empty: "I'm completely empty here," the actor admits, pointing to his head.

The solution, on the other hand, is right around the corner: "Hey Hugh, do you want to play Wolverine one more time?" the good Ryan asks his lifelong friend/rival, who appears behind his back.

We're not sure if Jackman's "sure, why not?" was meant to be sarcastic in the video; but the damage has been done, and the Logan star is ready to return in his most famous role, as confirmed by the logo that appears at the end of the video!
