Japanese developer and publisher Sunsoft announces digital event for August 18

Sunsoft has announced a digital event for its upcoming games. The company will share its plans during the event, which will be broadcast live on YouTube on August 18 at 1:00 PM PDT / 9 PM BST.
According to Yuichi Oda, the company's general manager, despite the period of silence, Sunsoft has been working hard behind the scenes to provide the public with a true rebirth of the company.
Sunsoft, a division of Sun Corporation, a computer, and electronic component manufacturing company, was founded in 1971 and entered the world of video game development in 1978, producing arcade titles such as Block Challenger and Block Perfect.
Since then, the company has produced several other arcade hits, including Arabian, Looney Tunes, and World Heroes, before releasing its first console title, Super Arabian for the NES, in 1985.
The company is best known for titles with a unique nostalgic flavor, including two Batman, but it is undeniable that its importance has declined over time.
We don't know yet if the company is going to make any big announcements, but maybe we can hope for a remaster/remake of such classic titles, especially Batman.
