For those unfamiliar, this new title from SEGA and RGG Studio will feature an original story where the Mad Dog of Shimano finds himself stranded on an island with no memory. As expected, the adventure escalates into a conflict involving pirates and criminal groups.
The new trailer showcased the naval combat system, along with customization options to modify the ships appearance. It was also confirmed that players will be able to invade other ships and fight waves of pirates and enemies.

In this new installment starring Goro Majima, the game moves away from JRPG mechanics and adopts the real-time combat system that characterized the franchises earlier titles.
In mid-September, the developers revealed that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii would debut on February 28, 2025. However, there’s good news as the release date has been moved up, and fans will be able to play it starting February 21 next year.
