Naughty Dog forged its name by appealing to the highest values of quality, and for many years, it was considered a studio full of talent. However, the times when developers gave their heart and soul to create a game are fading away, and not even money is motivation anymore. In the case of this PlayStation studio, it seems that the concept remains the same, at least as revealed by Neil Druckmann.
Naughty Dogs new game has become a challenge for Neil Druckmann and his team
During his participation in the rapper Logics podcast, Logically Speaking (via DomTheBomb on X), Neil Druckmann talked about Naughty Dogs upcoming game. The project in question could be a new IP since the development of The Last of Us: Part III, while confirmed, is in a very early stage, so it is not considered the immediate project we will see from the studio.

Regarding this, Neil Druckmann assured that the development of this new video game from Naughty Dog is stressing out the creators, but he has come to terms with the fact that there is no other way to do it and is trying to find a way to make it enjoyable for everyone: "Working on this new game is really ambitious, but some parts are really hard. Ive really given in and accepted that its going to be very difficult, also knowing that its going to stress out the team members, and now Im trying to find a way to make it enjoyable, both for me and for them."
In the same interview, Neil Druckmann revealed that he would like to make less demanding games as he is getting tired of the pace and stress he undergoes in Naughty Dogs big productions.
As for the studio, it was confirmed last week that it underwent a staff reduction as part of Sonys decision to adjust its video game business since the company demands changes and better management of creative and budgetary processes.
