Were talking about OMORI, an RPG from Omocat and Playism that captivated players with its aesthetics, story, and mechanics. Now, its world will come to life through an adaptation that promises to preserve the essence of the acclaimed title.

Omocat has announced a partnership with Monthly Afternoon magazine from Kodansha to launch a manga based on OMORI. The adaptation will stay true to the RPGs story and will feature illustrations by artist Nui Konoito.

The publication is aimed at fans of the video game but also has the goal of reaching a new audience to familiarize them with the narrative and the world of OMORI. Currently, there is no release date for the publication, but more news is expected in the coming weeks.

In case you didnt know, OMORI was considered one of the best releases of 2020. It instantly gained critical acclaim and player recognition. It stood out for its aesthetics, soundtrack, and its narrative, which touched on themes such as anxiety and depression.

The title received a Metacritic score of 87 from critics and a 9.1 from players. Additionally, on platforms like Steam, it recorded extremely positive reviews.
