Just a few days ago, Sony dropped a bombshell for PlayStation Plus members: the service is losing over 20 games next month, and some major titles are among them.
Big AAA productions from developers like Rockstar Games, several PlayStation Studio exclusives, and a number of acclaimed third-party titles will be departing the subscription library in May.
These 22 Games Are Saying Goodbye to PlayStation Plus
A total of 22 titles are being removed in the coming month. The headline loss is Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar’s enduring hit that has left and rejoined the catalog several times before.

PlayStation exclusives such as Infamous Second Son, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Resistance 2 are also on the way out. Although first-party titles often remain available for long periods, this is not the first time original content has been rotated out.
Unfortunately, the bad news doesn’t end there. Users have only a few days left to enjoy renowned titles such as Batman: Arkham Knight, Ghostrunner, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and Payday 2: Crimewave Edition, among others. Several PS VR2 games are also on the list, meaning virtual reality enthusiasts will likely be disappointed.
Sony has not announced the games that will replace these outgoing titles.
Here’s the complete list of games set to leave in May:
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Before Your Eyes
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
- Enter the Gungeon
