This Wednesday, December 21, we got the official announcement from Disney Speedstorm's Twitter account that the title is available to add to the PlayStation Store's wish list, so you can get notified when it's released and play it from day one.

In case you still don't know about the title to be released Disney Speedstorm, it's a new racing game that will be available to play for free. You might think it is a free version of Mario Kart, but the developers themselves have confessed that they are looking to be something much different with their own style of gameplay that characterizes them.

The game developers Gameloft also tell us that Disney Speedstorm is a "hero-based combat racing game, set on high-speed circuits inspired by Disney and Pixar worlds. Master each character’s unique skills on the racetrack and claim victory in this thrilling arcade racing experience from the creators of the Asphalt series!"

This announcement may be an indication that the official release date is getting closer. Besides the fact that the title will be released for different platforms, we could expect it to have cross-play functionality to be able to play with our friends more easily.

Characters such as Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Sulley, Baloo, Captain Jack Sparrow, and the Beast are just a few of the wide variety of playable characters in this title. Moreover, the gameplay will be unique, so players who like racing games have a whole new experience. And best of all, it will be a free-to-play title!
