The Pokémon Company is celebrating the franchise’s biggest annual competition with special gifts for fans—and this time, Pokémon TCG Pocket players are in luck.
Unlike its physical counterpart, Pokémon TCG Pocket doesn’t suffer from scalpers or resellers. In fact, players can often get digital cards without spending a dime. And today, developers are rolling out yet another freebie.
As part of the ongoing Pokémon World Championships 2025 in Anaheim, Los Angeles, United States, The Pokémon Company is distributing free in-game rewards across several of its titles, including Pokémon TCG Pocket.
How to Get 24 Hourglasses in Pokémon TCG Pocket
This time, DeNA and The Pokémon Company are giving away 12 standard pack hourglasses and 12 magic hourglasses.
- Standard hourglasses can be redeemed for one card pack from any available expansion.
- Magic hourglasses can be exchanged for one unit of magical energy, a key resource needed for magic selections.
These are valuable resources for players, so you’ll definitely want to claim them while they’re available.
How to Claim Pokémon TCG Pocket Twitch Drops
To earn these rewards, players must watch at least 30 minutes of an official Pokémon TCG broadcast on Twitch during this weekend’s World Championships coverage.
Just like the Eevee Grove expansion promotion, here’s what you need to do:
- Log in to your Pokémon Trainer Club account and your Twitch account.
- Link both accounts through the official Pokémon website.
- Watch 30 minutes of the official Twitch stream.
Once completed, your redeemed Drops will appear in your Twitch inventory, and you’ll be able to claim the rewards in Pokémon TCG Pocket by redeeming a unique code in-game.
The code will be unique per player and will remain valid until July 31, 2026 (Mexico City time).
