The battle to reclaim Earth will be the most intense on NieR:Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition. In this new title, the year is 5012, and the machines have won. They now rule our planet. A new mandate has led to the collapse of civilization, which forced humankind to move to the moon.

A new kind of protector has been developed to fight against the machine invaders that pushed humans off Earth. The android squad YorHa is now ready to stand against the enemy. Ahead of the team, androids 2B and 9S will lead the fight against the machine lifeforms to defend humans and return them to Earth.
