A few weeks ago, Apple confirmed something we never thought wed hear: Resident Evil Village, Capcoms AAA survival horror, will arrive on the iPhone 15 Pro thanks to the power of its new hardware. According to Capcoms announcement, Resident Evil Village will come to iOS on October 30, 2023. This means were just over a month away from the release of this port, and Capcom has prepared the launch to coincide with the spookiest time of the year.
Its worth noting that this Resident Evil Village release date was announced at an event in Japan, and Capcom has not made any comments about it on its international platforms. That said, considering that the survival horror game already has localization for the rest of the world, its most likely to have a simultaneous global release.
How much will Resident Evil Village cost for iPhone?
At the event, Capcom also confirmed that Resident Evil Village will be a free download from the App Store. However, this doesnt mean you can enjoy the full game without spending a cent. Instead, it means you can start playing for free but will have to pay to continue, somewhat like Nintendos free-to-start titles.
According to Capcom, all players can download and try the first stages of Resident Evil Village. That said, those who want the complete experience will need to pay ¥4990 JPY (approximately $33.65 USD). If they want to unlock the DLC, theyll have to pay an additional ¥2000 (about $13.49 USD).
