Resident Evil Village was, without doubt, the most anticipated segment and it didn’t disappoint. The upcoming content not only confirmed the long-awaited story DLC Shadows of Rose, a new perspective of the original game and brand new modes but also the Gold Edition pack that includes everything.

A promise is a promise

Capcom finally announced the DLC Shadow of Rose which will serve as a sequel of the base story. You will follow in the footsteps of Rose 16 years after the end of Village and will be a third-person campaign that will follow the steps of this new protagonist.

Winters' Expansion will bring two more important new features. First, as you may know, many fans were eager for a third-person version of Resident Evil Village and well, Capcom listened as this mode to play will be available, no worries new perspectives also mean new animations so your experience will be completely different.

The second one are the new characters and locations for the Mercenaries mode. Notably, we will be able to play with Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu.

Sadly we didn’t get news about the PS VR2 version announced in the State of Play stream.

Resident Evil Village Winter’s Expansion will arrive on October 28th of this year, hope your wallet is ready.
