PlayStation fans have chosen their favorite video game after Sony conducted a survey among users of the brand to gauge the popularity of its franchises and some of the best games released by PlayStation Studios.

Sonys official account on X revealed the result of a recent campaign in which fans were invited to choose their favorite video game in a direct face-off format that began with 16 titles in the round of 16. According to fans votes, their favorite video games to compete in the grand final were God of War and God of War Ragnarök, but it was the sequel to Kratos Norse saga that took first place, making it the communitys favorite PlayStation game so far.

When reviewing the games that were considered for this campaign by Sony and their respective progress, fans preference for 2 franchises is evident: The Last of Us and God of War, although Ghost of Tsushima reached the semifinals in one of the brackets.
On the other hand, support was not strong for games like Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End, nor for the 2 installments of Horizon on the market as they did not pass the round of 16.
It is worth remembering that this campaign, although fun, was not without controversy as some fans considered the absence of Bloodborne among the competitors since it is a PlayStation franchise even though its first game and expansion were developed by FromSoftware.
That said, the community has spoken, and as of today, God of War Ragnarök is their favorite PlayStation game.
