Perhaps the Epic Games Store is unable to keep up with Steam, but in recent years it has become one of the favorite platforms for PC users. This is largely due to its campaign of free games. Fortunately, this initiative continues to thrive, and soon players will be able to obtain a very cute title at no cost.
Every Thursday, the digital store gives away one or more titles to all users. Claiming them is very easy; just visit the page of each game and claim it to add it to our library. The good news is that you don’t need to be subscribed to a service; the only requirement is to have a valid account.
There’s good news for users looking to start October with a new game in their collection, as Epic Games has already revealed what the free title will be for the first week of the month.
The Epic Games Store will give away Bear and Breakfast in October
Although it sometimes gives away AAA games from well-known franchises, the company usually offers indie and lower-profile titles more regularly. Right now, we can get a free copy of The Spirit and the Mouse, a cute platformer that debuted in 2022. It will be available for free until October 3.
As usual, we already know which title will be given away on the Epic Games Store starting next week. We’re talking about Bear and Breakfast, a very cute and relaxing game where we play as a cute bear trying to run a hostel in the woods with friends.
This interesting title developed by Gummy Cat and published by Armor Games Studios debuted on July 28, 2022, and currently costs $19.99 USD, which translates to $227.99 MXN. If we wait a little, we can add it for free to our digital library on PC. However, it is a limited-time promotion.
Bear and Breakfast will be available for free from October 3 to 10, 2024. If we claim it during that period and add it to our collection, we can keep it forever and download it at any time. It is unknown which game will take its place at the end of the following week.

What is Bear and Breakfast?
For those who have never heard of Bear and Breakfast, it is worth noting that it is a resource management title where we must build and manage a hostel for tourists. Thus, we will need to customize dozens of rooms, lounges, bathrooms, and more with furniture and other items.
As we complete missions, we unlock objects and advantages that help us give a special touch to the hostel. There’s also an emphasis on narrative, as Hank, the bear protagonist, must unravel a mystery hidden in the woods. Additionally, there are multiple secondary characters.
Thanks to its cute presentation and relaxed tone, Bear and Breakfast resonated with the audience and currently has very positive reviews on Steam.
